Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Services Lead to join Making Space working within our Community Division.

 

The role will cover / support areas including Greater Manchester , Cheshire , Merseyside, Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire. You will be required to travel as part of this role, therefore access to your own mode of transport is essential. The postion is home-based, with frequent travel to services and meetings.

Salary: £31,085.60 per year

Responsibilities

You will take responsibility for the strategic and operational management of services within our Community Division. Leading, managing and motivating Service Managers and Team Leaders to achieve excellent outcomes for the people we support. Building strong relationships with commissioners, partners and stakeholders, and working collaboratively with the Business Development, Fundraising and Marketing Teams to contribute to winning new business and maintaining and retaining existing business.

 

You must have experience of leading a team in a relevant health and social care setting such as a carers centre or mental health support service and have experience of managing budgets , reporting on outcomes and meeting targets.

Qualifications

You must have Management NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, or willingness to achieve within an agreed time-frame. Experience using digital systems such as Charitylog, Nourish, Share point or Peninsula would be favourable.

 

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
