The role is home based with the expectation to travel to head office (based in Warrington, WA2 7JB) and relevant services.
Hours: 39 hours weekly
Salary: £48,740 per annum

As the Referrals and Placements Manager, you'll lead and coordinate the end-to-end placement, referral and assessment process across Making Space services within our regulated and supported living divisions.
You’ll be a key interface with Local Authorities, Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and commissioners, ensuring safe, timely and well-informed placement decisions while supporting services to maximise occupancy and reduce hard-to-fill beds.
Key responsibilities include:
• Be the single point of access for referrals and manage the process from enquiry to placement decision.
• Coordinate assessments and chair the Assessment & Allocations Panel, producing clear recommendations for Service Managers.
• Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, ICS partners and commissioners, and negotiate placements, rates and bespoke care packages.
• Drive performance against occupancy, void reduction and income targets, using insight to improve pathways and tackle hard-to-fill beds

You must have significant experience in placements, referrals, assessments or commissioning within health and social care, along with a strong understanding of Local Authority and ICS commissioning processes.
You will have excellent communication, influencing and analytical skills.
You must be prepared to work flexibly and travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays and some evening/weekend work.
